Little Beach Harvest is a unique cannabis destination on Eastern Long Island. It is the first tribally-owned and operated tax-free cannabis dispensary in Suffolk County. The 5,000-square-foot dispensary opened its doors November 2023 and is located at 56 Montauk Highway in Southampton, N.Y. The dispensary is wholly-owned by the Shinnecock Indian Nation, a federally recognized Native American tribe living on their traditional lands on the eastern end of Long Island.
The Shinnecock have a long-standing relationship and respect for plant medicine. The mission for Little Beach Harvest is to provide access to alternative, natural ways of healing and trusted cannabis products in a way that suits the needs of the community. Customers will find a wide variety of adult-use tested and approved products, plus community outreach, education, and social events centered around the plant.
Little Beach Harvest is a licensed dispensary that is regulated by The Shinnecock Cannabis Regulatory Division which adheres to the Shinnecock Nation’s tribal cannabis laws.

As a first contact people, the Shinnecock have found themselves sitting right up against the 1% of the Hamptons. In one of the most economically disparate places in America – which means we have a lot of audiences to account for.
Little Beach Harvest opened its doors to the public in 2023. The launch was a milestone for the area’s indigenous people. Sitting on our tribal land, our 6,000-square-foot two-story facility, the Little Beach Harvest dispensary is not subject to the New York State Cannabis Sales Tax.
As a means to provide for our tribe, Little Beach Harvest collects a small community fee on retail sales. The Community Fee provides much needed funding for the Shinnecock people.
